The only fixed wing aircraft I have ever marshalled was an AAC Beaver.

yes they were, saw a doc on them recently, its probably doing the rounds on cable, very interesting stuff, there is a thriving trade rebuilding them.

They always struck me as sturdy workhorse. With the option of ski's or floats what more could you want?

the cross is on the barn which you can see in the background. The barn is as close as you can get now to the hangars. On dry days a drive around the back is interesting any reasonable car can do it, except the wifes Seat Ibiza Sport. I have forgotten to tell her about that visit.

You must have been very young when you visited Netheravon then. I had free run of the airfield for years as I lived in the village but as usual of the time I had no camera. We climbed the hangars and played in the watch office. Its nice to see its still in one piece less one hangar.
