Now your just showing off (says he with just a hint of jealousy) :)

Excellent models. I gave up years ago because I couldn't meet my own standards. If you model ground equipment as well you will have made some new friends.

They are really good. I tend to buy die-cast ones cos I like to look at them but have too many fingers and thumbs and am useless at modelling.
I wish I had the patience and skill to do them myself.

Absolutely stunning models. I too used to make kits years ago when I was a singley in the mob. I'd spend £s on the things, but never got near your quality, they are superb. Thanks for showing them.

I'm a diecast man nowadays :-D

Memories........... I've forgotten what they are !!

Out of all those excellent model sharp noisy pointy things, my heart belongs to those Jaguars........*sigh....:-)

Like PNK, I have never been able to model with anything like satisfaction. I look at that level of achievement and despair at my own inaptitude.

Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Gary, re your number 7 image of the Lighting armed with Red Top missile(s).

I note that the missile has no wings yet is marked as a 'live' round. When flying with non-live rounds, known as Acquisition Rounds, the missile wings and control surfaces were removed to conserve fatigue life. This enabled the use of an operational front end which could detect the target and feed firing info back to the cockpit but with no rocket motor or warhead. Usually painted gloss white.

PS: great models!
