Shell-BP Airfield Recognition Adverts in Flight Magazine

No Amount Of Evidence Will Ever Persuade An Idiot (probably not Mark Twain)
Shell-BP Airfield Recognition Adverts in Flight Magazine was created by Peter Kirk
Back in 2008 I bought two Shell-BP books that contained obliquie airfield photos used in ads in Flght from the early 1950s, I have posted most of them.
Whislt browsing the Flight Archives I noticed they ran similar ads from 1964 to 1966. The quality of the online scan is not that good but neither were the originals.
The ones I have found so far are:
1 Squire Gate (4/6/1964)
2 Baginton (25/6/1964)
....
10 Dyce (14/1/1965)
11 Stornoway
12 Lulsgate
13 Jersey
14 Exeter
15 Gatwick (20/5/1965)
....
23 Portsmouth (27/1/1966)
24 Kirkwall
25 Newtownards (?/?/1966)
....
I have gone through 1964 by page and failed to find Nos 3 -9 and also 16 - 22 in 1965. I suspect there may be more than 25 as they did about 30 in the 50s.
Anyone come across these and more importantly where are the missing ones? They might have run these in another aviation related magazine as well, maybe using the missing numbers?

I have just bought a copy of that Shell & BP book "How well do you know your airfields ?" , 2nd edition 1953 , spiral bound with card covers for £25 from Soldridge Books ;

and they have another copy for £17-50 plus p&p .

I have the same one. I also have half of the first edition containing the first 15 bound in the same way. One is green and one is yellow. I was particularly interested in Hereford, Carlisle and West Hartlepool as thaey are not normally mentioned let alone seen.

That series of Shell-Mex & BP “Spot Your Airfield” photographs appeared in other magazines — and I still have my (monthly) Air Pictorials, listed below.
Except, that is, October 1964, which I reckon contained picture No 2. (A different Shell advert appeared inside the magazine in September 1964 because Senior Service cigarettes beat them to reserving the favoured back page position.) The numbers reached 32 in February 1967, but the March and subsequent editions carried a different Shell advert, suggesting that was the last. That said, the numbers inexplicably jumped from 28 to 31 in consecutive editions, so it seems there were 30 in the series — including two No 27s!
If anyone would like one scanned and posted here, ask away.

Kevin - Many thanks for completing the list. I assume that Flight was dropped from the ad campaign a few times, hence the gaps so maybe Air Pictorial had the same problem with 29 and 30. The dates from my Flight list don't match those for Air Pictorial and the gaps can't be publication date lead times, can they? I wonder who else ran them?
If you are scanning then Ronaldsway and Aldergrove would be great.
