I don't know whether it's because I'm not in the USA, but I've been unable to access many of the US Department of Defense websites properly, if at all, for a few months now. Each time the connection times out.
Most annoyingly, this includes the invaluable archive at
www.defenseimagery.mil
.

It still just sits there attempting to load then timing out repeatedly.

it is often very slow for me, I have a great set of inmages from a session the other week that did work, ballon winches, jump training , sorry Paul just teasing

Just tried it with Firefox - it times out - no luck.
Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite

Worked fine for me as well just grabbed some images from spanhoe.
