Forgotten Aerodromes of WW1 - new book , October 2014 was created by David Thompson
I saw this new book advertised in the December edition of Flypast and had a look at the Crecy website , see link ;

From the book dimensions it appears to be around A4 size , pity it couldn't be closer to the A5-ish size of the Action Station series .

I pointed out a spelling mistake in the book description and then asked for a review copy .

Just had it delivered by Amazon for £16.97. Very well produced hardback. On my quick scan, an excellent and long overdue addition. Good value too.
Makes me want to go back to the National Archives and photograph all the pages in the AIR 1 series on the aerodromes etc in 1918. Together with the book this would produce a fully comprehensive cover of the subject

I browsed through a copy of this at the Shuttleworth shop earlier in the week. It's pretty good. The layout is similar to Action Stations which obviously isn't a bad thing.
I got home later & thought 'Dammn!! Why didn't I buy it in the end???' I hate it when that happens!

The missing bits are the plans that were shown for many of the sites in that TNA series. Copyright issues I suppose.
