 Our new book, which is an introduction to the Airfield Research Group's partwork of 20th century military architecture is now available.

 

A4 Hardback, 286 pages, fully illustrated with b/w plans, drawings, and photos. 

This first volume is based mostly on our own archive material, including sitebuilding drawingsand photos stored within our facility at Alconbury. The main emphasis of the series are RAF stations but as the archives also has material on War Office architecture and aircraft factories, these are also covered in the appendices.

Volume is in 2 parts plus 16 appendices.
