My very first ever flight was in Argosy XN 859 at Benson in 1962. After over an hour of circuits, I had used 2 sickbags so they offloaded me and carried on.
Didn't put me off flying though.

Confirming the Argosy as a bomber !! I was stationed at RAF Holbeach Bombing Range 1963-1964, as a radar technician. We doubled as operators recording where the bombs fell.
One day and Argosy came and dropped the usual 25lb practice bomb. we all wondered what mission it was intended for.

The Beverly had this 'bomb aimers' window too.

Ops in the Middle East? RAF were in Bahrain, Aden, Sharjah and Oman etc. at that time. Dropping the odd bomb on some tribesmen?
