Scounged a flight in XZ180, an AH1 out of Farnborough back in 1979.
I was in the left hand seat; the pilot was carrying out a test flight which involved flying in a particular way needing great concentration so my job was to keep a lookout for other aircraft and relieve him on the controls whenever our accompanying boffins let him have a break.
I personally (some people won't agree) found the Lynx to be a delight to fly for a helicopter; control responses were just like those of fixed wing aircraft; I was even able to set up and fly an approach to the nominal touchdown point.
With the Lynx having been replaced by the Wildcat, some are being offered in the civilian market.
