I have just heard on another forum that the HP Herald at Elvington has been scrapped. How many others survive and where?

I can think of;

Gatwick (G-CEXP)
Norwich (G-ASKK)
Duxford (G-APWJ)
Woodley (G-APWA)

Are there any cockpit sections anywhere?

I took these at the Woodley museum 20-09-2019. The best that I could get of the plaque through the fence, waiting for the sun to shine upon it.

The Dead got memorials, The living got time.

Only ever did one trip out and in Heathrow - St Mawgan.
Outbound was un remarkable but with the boss, John Bryce , on board, I was unable to access the fligth deck however for the return flight I was on the flight deck and it was just getting dark. The crew did pre takeoff checks using a torch, apparently there was no cockpit lighting.
After departure, the F/O was flying and asked the captain for the anti ice to be switched on. The captain used his torch to identify the necessary panel, then selected and clicked on a switch - and the windsceen wipers started!
'Oh sorry' he said' I've been on the Twin Otter for the last 6 weeks'.
