Yesterday morning a Royal Navy Merlin heading south below the North Cornwall cliffs near Treligga. Brilliant flying weather-looks fun!

I think it was two of those that flew over our house a few weeks back. Made a hell of a racket and one looked as though it had landed at the hospital just outside Dartford whilst the second one circled. The backdrop wasn't as spectacular though.

Merlin of the Royal Norwegian Air Force on SAR training near Boscastle last week. The Merlin has been operating out of Newquay/St Mawgan for a couple of weeks.

RN Merlin at 300 feet heading north east near Boscastle today. Good visibility with Lundy Island (28miles) and Hartland Point (21 miles) on the horizon.
