Airfield workshop required

We are looking for a small workshop-unit on a small airfield, for design, testing and production of UAVs. And this is proving trickier than I thought, as airfields are either too busy, too close to towns, or simply reverting to agricultural use.

We have been based in the Shropshire-Hereford region, but would look further afield for the right unit. It would have to be nestled in countryside, and available for our light aircraft test-bed to do circuits. And possibly UAV circuits, when we get permissions. Grass strip is perfectly acceptable.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received and followed up.

Many thanks,
Roger J Ellis

Have a look at Llanbedr, Airfield UAVs flown from there since the late 50s up to now, only with a 12 year gap.
Now open for any type of UAV test and trials ,

Indeed, yes, a very nice site. Unfortunately this is a QinetiQ airfield, who have been doing their best to stop us developing a competitor UAV to their horrendous Watchkeeper. Not sure they would be best please to see me. Or they might perhaps quote £70k a month for a hangar.

(But I might give Long Marston a go...)

Thanks
