Was that the one at Hamble to train budding airline pilots?
There was a company at Hamble called Air Service Training, that was a long time back and were linked to Fairey somehow. I'm not sure if it is still going or know any company history.
AST was the predecessor of The College Of Air Training - AST left Hamble for Perth around 1960 after almost 30 years of operation.
Amongst others, Amy Johnson learned to fly with AST at Hamble
