Hey Guys

Just new to this Forum and I am looking for information regarding what I think are runway lights from an old airbase in Linclonshire

If someone can give me any information relevant to orgin and production period would be very much appreciated

Which airfield are you talking about ?

6 RCAF Bomber Group (organisation, airfields, squadrons, aircarft, and their 70 crashes in Belgium (location, crew, evasion lines, cemeteries, PoW Camps, etc...). Busy for a couple of years !!!!!!

It's a Type C2 Contact Light runway light fitting .
The C2 was introduced in 1941 and superseded by the C3 type in 1942, although installations of the earlier type continued until supplies were exhausted. Work to install Hibaldstow's Contact Lights was still ongoing in late 1943 for example.
