That would keep us all busy for a while Peter! Actually, it would be an interesting type of audit regarding use, given the publication date of that book - it's now twenty-three years 'out of date' regarding the current use and it's a very interesting suggestion.

Acklington ,Millom, Full sutton, Bovingdon, East Church, Market Harborough, Stradishall and soon Coltishall all prisons.

RAF Moreton Valence south of Gloucester. Large proportion of it is taken up by the M5. So we get to belt down the old runway area.

Pucklechurch which was an RAF balloon command unit is a prison, Kirkham which was a tech training school is also a prison.

Part of the old Woolwich Arsenal is a prison - Belmarsh where naughty boys go. There must be an aviation link as Woolwich is Navy and Army connected!
