According to a well known source (:) built only at:

Martlesham Heath
Rhu (Helensburgh)
Pembroke Dock

A rare structure seen by me at Martlesham in 1964 on a through visit Debden to Orford Ness.

I suspect the MH shed was the last survivor but is it still there or reduced in size?

Martlesham was still there in 2001 although I last photographed it in 1975 when it was still open land. It is there on Streetview as well but I don't know the date that was taken. Is the Martlesham one protected?

The Pembroke Dock ones are there and I believe they are the only survivors (2 off) - see below

Aren't the main hangars at Abingdon 'B' types (x4) plus one 'C' type and the 'Beverley' hangar.?

Records for 1942 (4038) and 1955 (SD722) give one 'C' and four 'A'

The 1944 record (4039) simply states 165,000 sq ft.
Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite :twisted:

Confirmed on my visit in 2006 to see F Hangar-the Beverley hangar + 4x A-type, 1x C-type
