RAF Limavady Frying Pan dispersals

RAF Limavady Frying Pan dispersals was created by Jim UCC
Looking at RAF Limavady and noticed that its dispersals are much smaller than any others I've see, some as little as 65 feet in diameter, anyone seen dispersals as small as these and would they be to accommodate small single engine aircraft?

Limavady was a relatively small station with shortish runways(1,690, 1,530 and 1,370 yards). The 1944 status gives the following dispersals:

24 off 125 foot concrete
1 off 100 foot tarmac
24 off 75 foot tarmac
4 off 60 foot tarmac

As the majority of its aircraft were twin or single engined. I guess these dispersals were adequate.

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite :twisted:
