Can anyone possibly help me out regarding Weston-on-the-Green. I'm trying to find a photo or better yet RAF site plan that shows where the blister and bessonneau hangars were located.
Or rather, I sort of know where they were but I need to "proof". I'm aware of some hard standings off the taxiway which I assume where hangar bases and I've seen a 1951 photo were one blister hangar is extent but I'm looking for something war-time.
Appreciate any help.

I only have two poor copies of wartime Weston on the Green. The first is an aerial from April 1942 taken through a very shiny plastic cover that couldn't be removed. The plan is from 1945 and is one of those copies of the larger RSP that didn't include the building index.

There is an oblique aerial photo on Brtain from above which shows a partial view of the airfield from the south, dated 1947 which shows 5 blisters

Thanks both! That was just what I was looking for.
Looking at the ORB for No.2 GTS it seems apparent that when they moved in the airfield needed to be expanded for accommodation and hangarage as well as the perimeter track built. That seems to show in the difference between the photo and the plan quite nicely. I guess the bessonneau hangars came down quite quickly as they were meant to be a temporary solution.

If you were looking for other photos to illustrate or add interest then this from th IWM shows Hotspurs and a hangar
