Snitterfield Airfield (Warwickshire) Bomb Stores

The bomb stores are north of the Bearley to Snitterfield road that the airfield extended across and are clearly shown on the Os 1:250002nd series (pathfinder sheet 975 (sp 06 16) .Snitterfield bushes woodland contains a network of concrete tracks and obscure bankings and ditches at least one bank is made of demolition rubble . The woodland has been bought by the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and the public is free to roamit can be found in Grid squares 190 600 and 200 600..

Thanks for posting these William as I've always wondered what was left of the bomb dump here having only visited the main airfield site. I'll certainly popping be back to have a look when I next visit my Sister in nearby Stratford.
