on a recent visit to culmhead i noticed 2 things while walking around 1st is round the outside not on the runways buried into the ground there is like rail tracks that go up for a few hundred feet anyone know what they are and 2nd near the t2 hanger there is a mound with steps any idea

Stuart, it would help if you would indicate the section of the airfield on which the 'railway lines' are located.

sorry thought i attached a map my bad lol, where the t2 hanger is straight down as if u were coming from hanger just go straight out.go onto google maps find tricky warren lane from the main road go staright down just before u het to the house on the left should be airplane pens they are along the straight bit
