Airfield building

Airfield building was created by G4HFG
I am attempting to identify the purpose of the building which is located at RAF Strubby, Lincolnshire.  The building is to the west of the main runway and it is served by a dedicated concrete pathway.  I have noted a very similar building also located in a similar position to the main runway on a number of airfields of this era.  Could it be for an RF beacon for instance?

Thank you for your assistance.

Appears to be on centreline so possibly contains the ILS localiser equipment?
