My apologies. I don't often use Cullompton services, but I know the spot you mean. May have been a "Reception Camp".

Re the Exeter ROC building, it was covered by the Subbrit group HERE some years ago, and stands in the grounds of Poltimore House. It has been used for a short while for paintballing.

Is THIS the US Navy Supply Depot you were referring to? More on JOWL-93.

I know the sector and ROC ops blocks as they are very well known and visible.
The building I refer to is red brick and lies about quater of a mile further up the M5 right next to its northern edge.

All I can see from various maps and photos is what looks like a farm building. Opposite side of the motorway from the the piggery?

I have taken that info on board NP, but I'm posting a more accurate position of said building, plus your answer didn't seem 100% positive, and I was just wondering if there were any further ideas etc - will settle for transmitter station.

Caught a glimse from the passing coach of a white-painted single-storeyed building at a position close to the road that passes Poltimore House. It certainly appeared to be of contemporary construction to the original airfield structure at the airfield.
