Military Murals at Ballywalter was created by ww2ni
I put a comment on a few days ago regarding the Airfield Defence structures and buildings I had found at Ballywalter S.L.G.
Two days later I was at Dunleath Estate where aircraft from theS.L.G. were hidden under trees.
The Stable Block and out buildings were used by The Berkshire Regiment and Royal Ulster Rifles who made it a little more homely with the help of some murals.
Fortunately these have been preserved and can be seen on my website.
It was heart warming to be allowed access and to photograph them!
