Runway Gradients

Runway Gradients was created by REF
With the label 'Most Dangerous irport in the World', the runway is a 12% gradient making takeoff and landing quite interesting. Does anyone know of any other runways with this sort of gradient?

The old (1970) single runway layout at Khamis Mushayt, Asir Province, Saudi Arabia, had a drop-off at one end due to an escarpment with a downdraught that resulted in aircraft (in particular loaded C130s) descending after lift-off to disappear out of sight of a ground viewer. Heart stopping when seen for the first time!

Courchevel(LFLJ) .... Approx 18%

In the UK, probably Nayland closely followed by St. Mary's. Great fun!

Nayland does look fun! Runway looks rough though! Courcheval - that really does look a bit on the dangerous side too!
