No, not Bury St Edmunds. A clue is that it was built as a fighter station to replace Leconfield which had temporarily transferred to Fighter Command in the early part of the Second World War. Also, the plan that I've provided may not actually be any of the old runways, taxiways etc but it is the area that the airfield occupied.

I think you're right PNK. I'd got it down to 'it's not Heathrow', then gave up.
Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite
