These are the sections for Portable Aircraft Dispersals, from memory they were a german design. They have previously only recorded at Alconbury. These are at Debach in Suffolk, I assume they must have come from Woodbridge or Bentwaters.

Thats the name I couldn't remember! Thanks Paul. I'd never noticed them at Debach before. Interesting to see these at Debach, I wonder how many more are out there?

Commonly known as SPU's (Splinter Protection Units) and used wherever considered necessary.
It was certainly common in the RAF and, I recall, the Army. They could be requested in various sizes etc; see here: 52.753697°N, 1.367883°E and also take a look at Molesworth's access in GE.

I had seen the smaller ones before but hadn't put the two together. Nice to clear it up. Thanks again
The gates at Molesworth (and Alconbury) have low "Jersey Barriers" to control and direct vehicular traffic.
These are regular US Highway type New Jersey Median Barriers, normally used the same way we use Armco and/or TVCBs over here.

OK, lets try this one then: 52.389240°N, 0.544741°E - Lords Walk RAF Lakenheath which was a Public Right of Way.
