It looks as though I have Saturday to myself and staying at Borehamwood. Which means Duxford, is there anything else around there to see. Can you get to see anything at North Weald, Matching, Sawbridgeworth, Foulmere???? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Richard

All worth visiting Richard, North Weald for sure, if you get lucky you can visit the 1950s tower too.

Saturday is a Duxford 'Safety day', so lots of light GA expected (but publicity has been a bit thin, so perhaps not lots).

Borehamwood has Elstree aerodrome nearby and of course the BBC and Independent TV Studios so you can see Albert Square and the Big Brother House! Better still, don't bother :)

Thanks Pete just what I need Big Brother & Albert Square, they are actually opposite my son's house in a small way. I have done Elstree, very interesting little place. I have done Hendon but as an airfield orientated buff I find Hendon a bit on the aircraft side? I know Duxford is but at least there is a good infrastructure of the WW1 - WW2 buildings. Thanks Richard I will try North Weald.

Thanks everybody for you help.
