I will be visiting Norfolk in May and would like to find some particular buildings.

I will be staying in Diss. What would be the closest place to see a Link Trainer building, a Bombing Trainer, and perhaps a semi intact crew locker and drying room? I will have a vehicle, and yes, I have survived driving in your country before ; ).

Hmm not sure off hand. You need the input of Richard Flagg ideally, as he is a local to that area I think... A few others too.

I will add the county to your thread title and hopefully that will get a bit more response...

Yes, I'm back(ish).

Richard is across your side of the pond at the moment Karl, I'm sure he will be in touch when he is back

When you say 'see' I assume you mean outside the building? I'm at West Raynham on the 21 May. They have some intact, but cannot enter the said buildings.

Hello Karl,
I would recommend a visit to North Creak. A visit to see what Nigel and Claire have done to the tower is well worth the trip.
I would also suggest wearing stout boots and nettle proof clothing for a trip into the woods. There are still one or two interesting buildings there.

Karl, Bury St Edmunds might be worth a look too. When are you over?

Rich, arriving the 15th, late afternoon into Diss. We will be at the Park Hotel. Friday morning we will be at Horham, afternoon at TA. Saturday will be around TA for at least part of the open day. Hope to spend the rest of the week with Ron doing some exploring. Can you get us in contact with the fellow from Shipham? Will be leaving Friday the 23rd. Are you available any of that time? And congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!

IS there a Link trainer anyplace close? Framlingham perhaps?

Not Norfolk but they do have a link trainer set up at East Kirkby.

There is a link trainer at Lavenham that might be worth a look.

I'm not about on the weekend you are here but it'd be good to meet up for dinner one evening?
