Anyone confirm what MRCP stands for as in No.1 MRCP, 83 Group?
They were involved in a close support blind bombing trial using an SCR584 gun laying radar at Honeybourne with the target at Longdon range sometime in 1944 (no idea when as the file has no date for the trial).
I suspect it is Mobile Radar something or other and I gather they were used later in the war in Europe for blind bombing in close support.
