Hello everyone, I'm a new member with interests in aviation, airfields and aviation related events of both WW1, and WW2.
I would like to ask if any members know what happened to the British, German and French airfields of WW1: Did any become permanent post war airfields, or were they taken back into farming/agriculture? In particular, I would be interested in any information regarding the RFC airfields at Bertangles,(pardon the pun), and Baulliel in Northern France
Many thanks, Bert Angles
Hello Bert,
I don't fly at Amiens which seems very close to Bertangles but I can ask some of my friends who fly there ! I'll let you know as soon as I get information about it (depending on their approach "angles" of course!).
All the best,
AF.
