Just starting to get into old Lincolnshire RAF bases can anyone suggest the best ones to view from a beginners viewpoint did a few last summer Ludford Magna,Binbrook,Dunholme Metheringham open to suggestions thanks
A hard one to answer not knowing what sorts of things interest you in your explorations.
A really good idea is to have an initial trawl through some of the threads on 'Lincolnshire Airfields' to see what might 'tickle your fancy'
If you then post some more definitive questions about particular airfields, I'm sure that loads of people in this forum can give you further details about specifics that you might want to explore.
I know you said RAF bases but a good old American one is North Witham. That would be a good place to start. It's open to the public, plenty of thing's to look at & it's a great walk.
