You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Very cool. I always wanted to do that with my parachutist dummies as a kid but the best I ever achieved was my bedroom window!

I like their other videos too, especially 'that much better' (the one with the pupets) - would like to know where the vid of old valve radio was as well but its not an airfield, could be a barracks or hospital. Saw them play in 2007, they were headlining a gig that my son played drums in.

Brings back memories. We used to catapult them to get some height but the chute always opened on the way up. Another lesson learnt. The first one was take the elastic band off first! Didn't small versions also appear in the old Jamboree Bags?

I must have been on this forum too long because my first thought was FOD! I need help :)

No the first time parachute dummies have been despatched from an Auster AOP9. I have a copy of the A&AEE report of the trial drop of the Type 15 Parachute Decoy (Ruperts) from the AOP 9. However the stick size was much smaller.
