This rather poor image is part of a British Leyland advert. Where is the airfield, the clue is the watch office in the distance I only wish that the photographer had photographed it a bit better rather than the car.
I did think of Gaydon but that would have been around the time it closed! I did have a list of airfields connected to the motor industry and I'm sure it was on the web but that was years ago. So what other airfields might BL have used? Nuneaton maybe?

Reminds me of Darley Moor that was a short drive up the A515 from the Longbridge factory and it would have been a no charge photo shoot location for their cash strapped sales department.
I drove past there in 1966 and they had just opened a motor racing circuit ( Motor Cycles ? ) just like we had at RAF Thame ( Haddenham ) during the late 1940's.
