Post war USAF/USAFE Airfields in the UK

Can anyone provide me with a list of airfields in the UK used solely by USAF/USAFE airfields please? It doesn't matter how short a time either.

Of the top of my head I can think of;

Alconbury
Barford St John
Bentwaters
Brize Norton
Bruntingthorpe
Burtonwood
Chelveston
Croughton
East Kirkby
Elvington
Fairford
Feltwell
Greenham Common
Lakenheath
Machrihanish
Mildenhall
Molesworth
Sculthorpe
Shepherds Grove
Sturgate
Upper Heyford
Upwood
Wethersfield
Woodbridge

I am sure I have missed a few!

Cheers - Rich

Better add Bruntingthorpe as a flying station.
Barford St John, Croughton and Feltwell have never been used for flying purposes by the USAF.

Not really, its mainly airfields and installations used by the USAFE from about 1950 onwards

Prestwick had USAF lodger units, but wasn't solely a USAF station, so I don't know whether that would count under Richard's spec.

Glad you put 1950 onwards otherwise there would be a lot more in the list :)

I was just about to add Manston but I saw it in the updated list. I though Marham was used or was it just allocated at one point? I'm pretty sure I had a list from 1948, or was it on AiX? I would suggest 1948 as the start of the post war USAF.

Edit: I also have Sandtoft in my head but am still looking for that list, assuming I had it in the first place!

It's probably worthy of inclusion but I'll annotate it as lodger units only

Thanks
