Hi all,
I have already purchased many airfield site plan's from the RAF Museum, to satisfy my learning and exploration. What a great service they provide!
However, I'm needing help with Royal Navy Airfields. I have recently contacted the Royal Navy regarding getting a site plan for RNAS East Haven (HMS Peewitt), Angus, Scotland. They replied stating could not supply the A2 size site plan, that I requested.
Any help or ideas?
Kind regards
Iain

The Fleet Air Arm Museum has a number of plans, is this what you meant by the Royal Navy?

Sorry for late reply!
Yes, did mean Fleet Air Arm.
Have been in contact with them and they could only supply a small PDF file of site.
Very dissapointed in outcome, albeit staff at museum did all they could to help, responded quickly to all emails.
I take it the Fleet Air Arm wasn't as bothered with recording airfield site plans, as the RAF were during the war?
Thanks for the reply.
Kind regards
Iain

That seems to be generally the case Iain.
I have two pages of A4 pdfs which is probably what you've been offered. If you want them please PM me.
Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite

Are the A4 pages from the FAA book of airfields (CB 4368 A)?
