Airshows 2018

Last lot. The Typhoon we were told will be flying by 2024. A looong time I know, but the older you get, the faster it goes.
Time flies by !!

Here's a few of mine from a rather hot Legends.
One week on and I'm still sun burnt! Ouch.

Never been a fan of polished aluminium, but those Red Bulls really sparkled in the sunshine.

Can't wait now for September.
I hear 20+ Spitfire are planned. Should be epic.

Paul ~ The attached photo was taken of Mr Chris House who had flown Hawker aircraft in 1944/5 and the photo had been taken in 1976 at the London Inn Padstow.

The story if I recalled it correctly was that one of his wing mounted cannons had jammed and he was forced to land.

We first meet Chris at John & Pauline's in the Churchill Arms Long Crendon during the winter of 1975.

I wonder if it could be the same Chris House mentioned in the article ? ~ his nick name had been Micky Mouse.

Definitely the last few ! Nothing else worth showing regards aircraft or vehicles. Have a couple of photographs of the Glenn Miller Band. As we approached they were playing 'Moonlight Serenade' Excellent !!!
