6 RCAF Bomber Group (organisation, airfields, squadrons, aircarft, and their 70 crashes in Belgium (location, crew, evasion lines, cemeteries, PoW Camps, etc...). Busy for a couple of years !!!!!!
It's a 1/72nd scale ,16inch wingspan !! The original crew chief sent over a colour copy of the nose art so the chap who made it for me would have the exact detail. About 20years old now.
Many Thanks for your kind comments, I just wish the photo's were a bit clearer. But as they are also 20 years old too i suppose they're not too bad, Shall have try a digital camera . Though photographs do seem to distort once committed to the computor !!
I keep thinking about starting the modelling lark again. Got a 1/72 scale Vulcan to build (as a B1 with Anti Flash white) and loads of AFVs (less space than aeroplanes).
Like the photo of "Our Gal Sal". Has someone knicked the prop blades of the starboard inner!
