Hi notned your virtual imiges look quit good . I remember going gliding from Struby back in 1984 when all the airfield lay out was still complete . I have Slides of the airfield & when i have had them diditalised will post them up .

Looks good but the tower looks the wrong way round, it should face the airfield not the tech site.

Strubby is looking good, I used to fly offshore from here with Bonds helicopters!

Where did the Ai Lancasters come from, I may be in need of one shortly.

Hi Paul I have just joined the site, and recently moved to Sutton On Sea, near Strubby airfield. I am trying to find out as much about operations there during the 2nd war, as am doing research about the base. I know your pics are computer generated, but do you have any real photos of the base during these years? I have a face book page called RAF Strubby Heritage Group for like minded members and relatives of people who served there during the war years. Cheers.Jan
