A good idea.

However, it is the sort of page that should be accessible directly from the home page as a tab rather than from the less obvious looking 'list box' for the benefit of new users? And be a 'tab' where 'pinned' and 'locked' threads rather than having those threads popping up in unlikely places?

I find the current system a little confusing as it stands.

If the topic in a thread is individual to a particular item, then fair enough; but pin it at the top of the thread where it is obvious?

We are doing the best we can with the tools and time we have available, and it is steadily evolving and improving
