Hi,

For some reason my browser (Firefox 75.0) refuses to remember the ARG forum URL and log me in automatically, although my name and password are pre-filled. Other 'member' URLs log me in straight away. When I do log in I get the following error message:

Error
You have entered information to an obsolete form from another session. Please verify that the user account is yours and please try again!

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

Martin

That is Exactly what I have been getting for ages. Just click-on Try again, and it Should get you on the forum ? But now I have to use Google Chrome and that eventually gets me on the forum. A Loooong winded performance ? But that's Modern Thinking, and Progress for ya !! Load of Rubbish !! Good Luck.

Try clicking the little cross X at the top right of that Pink bar.

I suspect the URL is to a forum members section, so errors prior to login but once logged in gets confused. That error message is the same as when I sometimes logout whilst in a members only section, so I assume it errors because you are not a member as far as it is concerned until you log in.

I used the INDEX page as a login URL (ie Bookmark) as it works whether a member or not.

I could be totally wrong and it might be another problem but it is worth checking.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

I'm going to see about sorting this tonight while you are all asleep so that it doesn't interfere with the forum use.

Thanks Jeff and all. Changing the bookmark URL to the home page has sorted the auto-login for me. I thought I used to be able to auto-login straight to the forum pages but can't be 100% sure now!
