Hello there,
I apologise if this in the wrong section - I have searched the forum.
On my profile - I have an Avatar.
When I submit a post or view an ongoing post on a subject - underneath my avatar it states 'away'.
I've noticed other members show online - when online and offline when offline.
What is away?
Excuse my lack of understanding if this is a simple thing.

Iain I am often offline when in fact I am online as well.

I think you get a different message when you are viewing your own status. I assume 'away' means not in the current thread?
