what was the serial number of the last Blackburn built Sunderland at Dumbarton and what happened to it?

VB889 which was completed on 19 October 1945 (and might have first flown on that date).

GR5 of 201 Sqdn, NS*D VB889. There is a photo in the Warpaint book and a profile in the Osprey book.
VB889 took part in the Berlin Airlift.
It was struck off charge 08 August 1956

It looks like the aircraft of 201 and 230 squadrons were dispersed during 1956, see page 78
