Coverack was a Naval Y station. The TNA record states VHF Intercept + D/F + Research facilties. The D/F tower was 300 yards from the station.
Today the site seems to be a home but GE for 2001 shows an extensive farm complex - gone by 2006
The TNA location is X205402 which gives NGR SW 780 174. HERE
The base for the D/F tower seem to be at 7797 1750 HERE
Just to the south is an interesting area which in GE 2006 shows a central object with four white objects around it at NE, SE, SW, and NW. I suspected an Adcock style DF station, but its missing from the GE 2002 Layer.
Note the earlier TNA records have a slightly different location of X207405 (SW 782 177) HERE . Was it incorrect, or did they relocate the station?
I've put this as a separate entry from the generic Y station thread as it's worthy of further research.
