Ferry Command W/T Station was created by Downrange
Does anyone happen to know what station the old W/T call-sign "GFH" refers to? It is mentioned as a station that Gander passed aircraft over to Ferry Command on the NAT.
I have gone through my old 1947 copy of the MCA Notice to Airmen (see below) without any luck!

Odd, Sollas is a small grass strip with only a handful of buildings I think though the farmer did say there was a "bunker" which probably just means a hardened structure. It is right on the West coast though. There was a LORAN at Mangersta which right on the coast looking to the Atlantic and it was a wartime site. There is another CAA site near at Forsnavel but I don't know if was there in WWII.
Aird Uig / Gallan Head seems to have been active in WWII but possibly only DF.
As Galdenoch active them or was it postwar?
There was a RAF WT site near Raigmore roughly where the supermarket is now, four towers can be seen on APs but don't know if comms or MF DF. I always wonder if the GPO site at Daviot was wartime RAF.
