Not a quiz, I genuinely don't know. Supposedly a BoB site, Luftwaffe image dated 24-08-40. I've gone through my After the Battles on the Blitz & BoB, but have failed. It is now doing my head in! Could the image be reversed?

It looks like Driffield prior to the starting of the first perimeter track and runways.

Driffield it is. I tried all the 'down south' airfields first and drew a blank. After checking Leconfield, Driffield and others vaguely coastal, I gave up because the righ angled peritrack with fuel loop didn't match anywhere. However, the external road/railway and farmhouses do match up. Thank You. A tenner well spent on fleabay!
