Believing Fradley Airfield Staffordshire to have been developed for housing i was supriised to come across 5 Hangars used for industry and a series of possibly Bomb/Munition storage buildings and concrete tracks for the same .All the features are shown on the contemporary Ordnance Survey 1 Inch to 2.5 mile mapping. The area in which the features are is in the grid squares SK130 130 and 130 140 and bounded by the Trent and Mersey Canal The Coventry canal Gorse lane and wood lane .at the corner of Wood lane and Netherwood lane there is also a pill box .Off Gorse lane is a bridal Path which follows a concrete path Past a farmhouse after which the features can be seen .One stores is filled with painted rotting pianos which were used i think in a festival at this site (there are signs of Camping possibly to associated with the Fradley Junction on the canals.
