Set of 1988-dated USAF and RAF FLIPs (FLight Information Publications) found during demolition and passed on to us this afternoon.
These are currently thought to have come from Building 48, and would date to the period when it was the 509th Tactical Fighter Squadron hardened operations facility.

As it says, thought to have come out of Building 48.
(Can't have come from anywhere else really... )
Indeed, just intrigued as to where in the building bearing in mind their fairly good condition. Especially when remembering how damp it was in there...
As it is, they've passed through two or three sets of hands before finally arriving at their correct destination.
Last I was told is that they "might have come out of HAS 3003", and I know for sure I didn't leave anything in there that I couldn't carry.
While their provenence places them firmly in the Alconbury Heritage Collection, the information contained within is also of use under the overall archive heading.
