Archive additions: 8/6/2016

My thanks go to Alconbury Veteran Bob Sinz for sending in these large unused SAC and USAFE stickers for the Alconbury Heritage Collection.









While the Archive building is presently closed to visitors, for reasons outside our control, the USAFE shield is currently on display in the RAF Alconbury station library for those with base access.

RAF Lakenheath mug, dating from the 1960-72 period from the F-100, kindly donated by persons unknown.

501st Tactical Missile Wing mug, kindly donated by the same unknown individual.

The 501st TMW, a 1980s GLCM unit, was the predecessor to the 501st Combat Support Wing currently headquartered at RAF Alconbury.
