Well it is your post, and deleting your own post is something you are entitled to do.
BUT, if there are posts which follow on from yours which are based on or respond to your post, then if you delete your post it may mean that those posts become meaningless or non-sensical, which is very unsatifactory.
If you still want to delete your post and there are posts which are affected in this way, please use the "Report to Moderator" function to let us know so we can make make some sort of sense.
Just so you know, if another member "quotes" your post in full or part, you cannot remove that, it remains in their post.
