As with many tasks on a computer there are many ways you can upload a photo to the forum
This is the way I use on my Windows laptop running Windows 8.1 and using Chrome as my Web browser
You may find that there are differences in how you do things depending on your system.
So....
Open your new post or topic, or if you are responding to an existing post click on Reply or Quote (not Quick Reply)
If it is a new topic, add a title in the subject field
Add some text to the body of the post describing the photos you intend to include
Too add some photos to the post, click on the Attachments button
Click on the +Add Files button
Using the Open Dialog box which pops up, browse to the folder on your PC that contains the files you want to add
Click on the first photo you intend to add
If you want to add multiple photos you can hold down the ctrl key while selecting the other ones you want (max 10)
,
click on the Open button on the Open Dialog box
The photos will be added to your post and will be visible as thumbnails at the bottom and also as thumbnails when you finish editing
If you want to insert some of the photos so they are visible full size in the post, click on the INSERT button under each thumbnail. The photo will be added at the point the text cursor last was in the text edit window
To add them all, click on the INSERT ALL button
Note that it is prefered that when there are large numbers of photos in a post or thread only one or two of the most significant photos are inserted as we have found that large numbers of full size photos impacts on the performance of the system for you and other users
When you are finished, click on the Submit Button at the bottom of the post to add your post to the forum
(This is the first pass at this set of instructions - if you require further help or clarification please get in touch)
