Good afternoon all.
I'm Buck, originally from Newcastle but have lived in Lincolnshire for several years.
In the course of my job in vehicle delivery,I have access to multiple old WW2 airfields, which is where my interest in airfields and the history of WW2 began, its become a drug.
Living in Lincolnshire I'm close to my favourite subject, being the bomber command airfields of WW2,and I visit as many as I can,I've found learning and information is near endless.
Thanks for a great site that gives great information, looking forward to learning more.
Regards Buck.
Selected photographs of remaining structures are always welcome so, if you have the legal opportunity during your work related visits get clicking and share with us if you choose. Today's remains are tomorrow's history.
Welcome to the forum. Haven't been to Lincolnshire since 1990, although been through it a couple of times since then. I saw it on Boxing Day though, from the other side of the Wash at Hunstanton, lovely clear weather that day.
